Rinse the tooth with lukewarm water – Rinse with lukewarm water.

Reimplant the tooth in the socket – If a permanent tooth is knocked out, reimplant the tooth quickly.
Gently push the tooth into its socket, or place it above its socket and close your mouth gently. Keep it in place with your fingers or by gently biting down.
Keep the tooth wet at all times – The tooth must be moist at all times, either in your mouth or in a container.
